AlertSite Launches Simplified Web Transaction Monitoring Tool
DéjàClick by AlertSite offers one-click convenience to detect and respond to site problems faster
COCONUT CREEK, Fla., October 16, 2006 - AlertSite®, a leading provider of web performance measurement, systems monitoring and security vulnerability scanning services, today launched DéjàClick™, the first "inside the browser" transaction recording and playback tool, and the only software application to use TrueUser™ monitoring, a true-to-life web experience that captures the web page content from the perspective of the desktop user.
DéjàClick saves online businesses time by automating the scripting process used to monitor the performance of web transactions. Customers can record and begin monitoring a transaction almost immediately, allowing faster detection and response to problems–subsequently minimizing site performance issues or downtime. Currently available recording devices require hand coding and testing, delaying monitoring by a day or more.

The tool, which is available as an extension to the Mozilla® Firefox® browser, acts as a "super bookmark." With just one click users go directly to sites with password access or multi-page navigation paths, such as e-mail inboxes or package-tracking screens. Other bookmarks only provide shortcuts to a specific URL and do not include keystroke capture, which requires users to repeatedly enter the same password or package-tracking number each time they want to retrieve updated information.
