the expansion of its geographic monitoring locations
to include Frankfurt, Germany. Used to provide
real-time monitoring of web presences, AlertSite
provides a global perspective of end-user quality
of experience from eight worldwide locations,
simulating what and end user would experience.
The new location complements AlertSite’s
existing monitoring stations in Florida, Maryland,
California, the United Kingdom, China, Singapore,
Australia and Chicago.

Customers can now use the

service. Before alerting users of a problem,
the MultiPOP system verifies the error with
up to nine diverse geographic stations. This
verification reduces the number of messages
a company receives for isolated Internet outages,
allowing the company to focus on problems directly
related to its web site.
