Recorder. The AlertSite Transaction Recorder
is a free Windows-based desktop application
that makes it easy to create, edit and maintain
almost any web-based business application script,
such as order forms and credit card processing.
These transaction scripts are used to measure
the performance and availability of critical
online transactions that internal and external
customers depend on. Web site owners simply
step through the target application exactly
as a user would, pushing buttons, completing
text fields and following links. Once completed,
recorded transactions are then uploaded to the
customer’s AlertSite account.
