Usage Based Monitoring saves companies money by charging only for the monitoring they use

Today AlertSite® introduced the industry's most flexible pricing plan for website performance management, Usage Based Monitoring. Based on a measurement credit purchasing plan, customers pay only for the amount of monitoring they use, can change their monitoring intervals at any time, can try different AlertSite services as needed, and more, all with a few clicks. Everything is available on demand, around the clock.

A "measurement" is any monitoring event from a single location, such as monitoring e-mail, Web performance, or DéjàClick™ actions. There are no restrictions on the amount of credits users can purchase. If credits run out, AlertSite will continue monitoring to ensure uninterrupted service, and bill the customer later for additional credits consumed. Customers can replenish their credit supply at any time, and if they buy too many, bank "extras" until they are needed.

Other key features of AlertSite's Usage Based Monitoring plan include the flexibility to:

  • Upgrade and downgrade your service plan at any time. Monitoring intervals and locations can be adjusted at any minute, based on seasonal changes, maintenance downtimes, and so on.
  • Pay for only the measurements you use. Customers purchase the number of credits they project they will use for the year.
  • Rollover up to 20 percent of unused credits. Customers can keep unused credits and use them at their convenience the following year.
  • Buy more credits at any time, without overage costs. AlertSite does not penalize customers who go over their prepaid credits. They are billed in arrears at standard rates.
  • Try different AlertSite services with minimal commitment. Customers can add and subtract services at any time to meet their changing business requirements.
  • Use detailed reports to manage your account. AlertSite's usage reports document the services customers have utilized and track the number of credits purchased, used, and remaining on the customer's account. Customers can access reports any time by logging into their online accounts.
  • Avoid hidden costs. There are also no monthly minimum or maximum usage requirements. Without a monthly fixed amount, customers do not have to worry about penalties or losing credits if they are not used.
