DéjàClick™, which uses AlertSite's proprietary TrueUser™ technology, is the first-ever inside-the-browser web performance monitoring system. DéjàClick features a transaction recording and playback platform that automatically builds testing scripts by following users' click streams. The resulting scripts can test and monitor Rich Internet Applications (RIAs), which are rapidly becoming the backbone of web commerce.
Traditional web performance measurement systems are passively "data-center focused" and blind to the actual user experience on the desktop. By contrast, AlertSite's DéjàClick automatically detects and adjusts for the dynamics of RIAs, including human think time, cookie-based form filling, differences between first-time and repeat users, network activity, third-party-generated content, and more. Scripts are created automatically as a byproduct of mouse clicks and web site browsing, and can be modified to monitor a wide range of conditions, including network anomalies and problems as they occur across the Internet.
Integrated into AlertSite's global monitoring platform, DéjàClick scripts measure web site and RIA performance continuously while simulating the activity of end users from locations all over the world. Customers can upload scripts directly into their AlertSite account and begin monitoring transactions from multiple locations within minutes. Users can view detailed performance and availability measurement reports, edit monitoring intervals and notifications, and analyze the results of changes to their virtual business transactions.
AlertSite's DéjàClick works within the Mozilla Firefox browser. It is compatible with nearly every major operating system, including Windows, MacOSX, UNIX and Linux.
